The Burnham art trail week went really well with lots of artists exhibiting in shop windows and open studios and gardens. The town had a lively feel with people walking around holding their trail guides.
I was exhibiting in Jim Bradshaw's garden studio, a beautiful venue and many people visiting it had 'studio envy'. It is a lovely light space and I was able to exhibit my jewellery, quirky Liberty fabric pictures and embroidered marsh pictures. It was so nice to meet people and to get such lovely positive feedback on my work.
There were lots events during the week especially encouraging everyone to get sketching.
Cream teas & handmade cakes were served in Jean Webber's gardens to raise money for the RNLI - the carrot muffins were gorgeous.
Sam from Jacaranda created a stunning floral display of two peacocks.
It was a wonderful week with lots to see and do. Thank you to the organisers of the art trail and Jim for having me in his studio.
